Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Chief Whip of the Senate, visited the Chinese Embassy today and held a productive meeting with Mr. Shi Yuanqiang, Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both expressed their commitment to further deepening the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China. They underscored the importance of continued collaboration in economic and strategic domains, recognizing the significance of these areas for the prosperity and security of both nations.
Senator Mandviwalla highlighted the longstanding friendship between the two countries, emphasizing that the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China is a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy. He commended China’s unwavering support in various regional and global matters, including economic development initiatives such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Mr. Shi Yuanqiang reaffirmed China’s dedication to enhancing its partnership with Pakistan, stressing that both nations share a vision for regional peace, stability, and prosperity. He reiterated China’s commitment to continuing its support for Pakistan in its economic growth and strategic endeavors.
