SACM KP highlights China’s role in Pakistan’s growth, stating that the success of CPEC is a result of long standing partnership.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister (SACM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Forests, Wildlife, Environment, and Climate Change, Pir Musavir Khan, highlighted that China has been a loyal and enduring ally of Pakistan, sincerely committed to supporting the country’s economic growth and efforts to overcome poverty.
He attributed the steady progress of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to this strong bilateral relationship and expressed optimism about the second phase of the project, expecting the establishment of new industries, increased exports, and expanded job creation. He shared these remarks during a visit to the Chinese cultural center, China Window, in Peshawar.
During his tour, Pir Musavir explored various exhibits, signed the Friendship Wall, and wrote his thoughts in the visitors’ book. He acknowledged China’s consistent support in challenging times and affirmed that Pakistan has always responded with heartfelt sincerity. He noted the provincial government’s desire to deepen collaboration with China, particularly in environmental and climate-related matters.
He stressed the need to broaden cooperation between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and China beyond education, extending into multiple public and private sectors. In this context, he emphasized that strengthening people-to-people exchanges is essential for lasting ties.
Pir Musavir praised the China Window as an outstanding representation of Pakistan-China friendship in Peshawar and expressed hope that it would continue playing a significant role in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
