RoboCup Asia Pacific kicks off in Qingdao showcasing China’s advancement in technology.
The RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2024 was held from Thursday to Sunday in Qingdao, Shandong province, attracting over 200 teams and around 600 participants from more than 20 countries and regions.
The event featured five primary competitions centered on humanoid robotics, with leading industry players such as Fourier, Booster Robotics, and Unitree Robotics showcasing their latest research accomplishments, according to the organizers.
This event marked the first RoboCup hosted in a world-class film studio at the China Movie Metropolis in the Qingdao West Coast New Area, offering teams and spectators a unique and immersive experience that combined the thrill of robotics with the artistry of filmmaking.
