President Zardari sends New Year greetings to President Xi highlighting the ironclad partnership between China and Pakistan.
Pakistan’s President, Asif Ali Zardari, extended warm greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the Chinese Spring Festival and the arrival of the Year of the Snake.
In his letter to President Xi, Zardari reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the “ironclad friendship” between Pakistan and China. He expressed his eagerness to visit Beijing for discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation and deepening the longstanding ties between the two nations.
The president emphasized the unwavering partnership between Pakistan and China as All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partners, highlighting the resilience and unity displayed by both nations. He credited successive leaderships for fostering and reinforcing this exceptional interstate relationship. He further reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to the “One China” policy, calling it a fundamental pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy.
President Zardari also conveyed his sincere appreciation to President Xi for his consistent support in strengthening Pakistan-China relations, particularly his leadership in advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
As President Zardari sends New Year greetings to President Xi, he also praised China’s impressive progress across multiple sectors in 2024 and commended the ever-growing and enduring friendship between the two countries.
