Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the PM’s Digital Youth Hub on Wednesday, an innovative platform aimed at providing young Pakistanis with opportunities in employment, education, and skill development.
Speaking at the launch event, Sharif highlighted the significance of equipping the country’s youth with modern technological skills, enabling them to reach their full potential by offering diverse opportunities across multiple fields and industries.
The prime minister reiterated the government’s dedication to investing maximum resources in this initiative, emphasizing that proper training in emerging technologies can turn young individuals into a crucial asset for the nation.
The Digital Youth Hub is part of the government’s larger efforts under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and the National Youth Council. It aims to empower youth across all provinces by enhancing their access to education, employment opportunities, and vocational training.
As per government-provided details, the new platform will function as a comprehensive digital portal, offering a range of services, including career counseling, job listings, scholarships, internships, and specialized training programs.
Sharif stated that the initiative is designed to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers across public and private sectors, as well as international markets. He expressed optimism that within its first year, the platform could benefit between 10 to 15 million young Pakistanis.
