Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the government is making every effort to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens residing in Pakistan.
He made these remarks during a conversation with China’s Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang on the sidelines of the Climate Action Summit (COP-29) in Baku on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
Highlighting the enduring friendship between China and Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that a new chapter has begun in strengthening bilateral ties.
In response, Ding Xuexiang expressed China’s willingness to jointly tackle security challenges and broaden the scope of cooperation between the two nations, aiming for the progress and prosperity of their citizens.
