Pakistan’s first government-funded Autism School in Lahore is nearing completion and will provide free treatment for children with autism.
Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the project is set to be completed within a year, marking a significant step in the province’s commitment to special education.
Speaking on the initiative, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz emphasized that children with special needs are extraordinary individuals who deserve dedicated support. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving Special Education Centers and ensuring the success of this initiative.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted that the primary objective of the project is to rehabilitate children with autism, equipping them with skills to become productive members of society.
