Pakistan’s exports rise 10.52% in first half of FY 2024-25 as per Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Pakistan’s exports saw a rise of over 10 percent in the first half of the current fiscal year, from July 2024 to June 2025, compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Wednesday.
Exports from July to December 2024 totaled 16.561 billion U.S. dollars, up from 14.985 billion dollars during the same period last year, reflecting a growth of 10.52 percent, as reported by the PBS.
In December 2024, exports increased by 0.67 percent year-on-year, rising to 2.841 billion dollars from 2.822 billion dollars in December 2023, the PBS noted.
On a month-to-month basis, exports also grew by 0.28 percent, increasing from 2.833 billion dollars in November 2024.
Imports into Pakistan rose by 6.11 percent, reaching 27.733 billion dollars in the first half of the current fiscal year, compared to 26.137 billion dollars in the same period last year, according to the PBS.
