Pakistan’s exports increase over 7 percent in nine months as per recent data released.
Pakistan’s exports rose by more than 7 percent during the first nine months of the 2024–2025 fiscal year compared to the same period in the previous year, according to data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Friday.
The PBS reported that total exports for the period reached 24.690 billion U.S. dollars, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.69 percent.
In March 2025 alone, exports stood at 2.617 billion dollars, reflecting a 1.95 percent rise compared to March 2024.
On a monthly basis, exports in March also showed a positive trend, increasing by 5.10 percent compared to February.
Conversely, imports grew by 6.33 percent during the same nine-month period, amounting to 42.589 billion dollars.
