A high-profile delegation from Pakistan, led by Asad Mohammed from the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication and Akifullah Khan from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), recently visited the Shenzhen Software Industry Association on November 19. The purpose of the visit was to foster in-depth discussions and exchange opportunities for collaboration in the high-tech sector.
Zheng Fei, Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Software Industry Association, highlighted Shenzhen’s reputation as China’s innovation hub and its pivotal role in technological advancements, particularly in the Internet, Internet of Things (IoT), and big data over the past four decades. He expressed the association’s commitment to promoting industry development and conveyed eagerness to expand cooperation with the Pakistani delegation for further collaboration opportunities in high-tech industries.
The delegation and association representatives engaged in detailed discussions on technology, market dynamics, policies, and other areas of mutual interest. The symposium concluded with a consensus to jointly promote collaboration between Chinese and Pakistani high-tech enterprises, particularly focusing on emerging industry segments such as artificial intelligence applications, smart sensors, software services, and intelligent robotics. The collaborative efforts also aim to contribute to the development and expansion of industry clusters, marking a significant step towards fostering technological partnerships between the two nations.
