In an effort to enhance cultural connectivity and regional collaboration, Pakistan is set to host the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) cultural caravan, as revealed by caretaker Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Jamal Shah.
The announcement came during a meeting between Minister Jamal Shah and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin. The mega event aims to highlight the rich cultural heritage of the region, with a significant role reserved for artists from all Central Asian States, including a special invitation extended to those from Kazakhstan.
Minister Jamal Shah emphasized the potential for collaboration in the fields of film and cinema to strengthen bilateral cultural relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan reciprocated the positive sentiments, praising the friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries. He expressed assurance of future collaboration across various sectors, including cultural exchanges, art, cultural heritage, museums, and film. As a symbol of this collaboration, Kazakhstan announced plans to organize a film screening at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
