Pakistan to participate as ‘Guest of Honor’ in 8th Silk Road International Exhibition from September 20 to 24.
Ghulam Qadir, the Commercial Counsellor at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, announced on Sunday that Pakistan will be the guest of honor at the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, from September 20 to 24.
He highlighted the growing exchanges between Pakistan and Shaanxi in recent years across multiple sectors. Qadir mentioned that during a visit to Xi’an in June, Pakistan’s prime minister expressed a strong desire to deepen ties with Shaanxi in areas such as economy, trade, energy, agriculture, education, and sister city relationships, with a particular focus on economic cooperation.
Qadir noted that Pakistan’s role as the guest of honor at the Silk Expo will greatly enhance practical cooperation between the two sides in various fields.
He also mentioned that a large Pakistani delegation will participate in the event, showcasing a variety of Pakistani products to strengthen relations and explore new avenues for collaboration.
