Pakistan forces eliminate three Indian-backed BLF terrorists in Balochistan during an intelligence based operation.
According to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence based operation (IBO) was launched in the Gishkur area of Awaran District following reports of Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region. During the operation, troops targeted the terrorists’ position, resulting in the death of Indian-backed militant Younas and injuries to two others after a fierce exchange of fire.
In a separate incident in Turbat City, Kech District, security forces successfully eliminated two Indian-backed militants — Sabr Ullah, the group’s leader, and another operative identified as Amjad, also known as Bichoo.
The forces also seized weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the slain militants, who were involved in various attacks on security personnel and targeted killings of civilians. Follow-up operations are underway to clear the area of remaining threats. The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces, with the support of the people, are resolute in defeating Indian-sponsored attempts to disrupt peace and development in Balochistan.
President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the security forces for neutralizing the three militants in Balochistan. He praised their successful execution of the intelligence-based operations against the Indian proxy.
He affirmed that operations against terrorists will continue until they are fully eradicated. The President expressed satisfaction over the security forces’ efforts and stressed Pakistan’s strong resolve to eliminate terrorism and safeguard national security.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also commended the forces for killing three and capturing two injured members of the Indian-backed BLF. He acknowledged their professionalism and timely actions in countering India’s destabilizing objectives.
He stated that India’s plot to endanger innocent lives in Balochistan through terrorism has been unveiled. “We will defeat India’s malicious plans to disrupt peace in Pakistan,” the Prime Minister said, reiterating the government’s commitment to uprooting terrorism completely.
