Pakistan’s export to China in September 2021 has increased by USD 135.8 million compared to September 2020 exports, according to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP)’s latest statistics.
Official data shows that Pakistan’s exports to China remained at $ 261.859 million in September 2021, while in the same month in 2020, the export value was $ 126.144 million. The change in the value of Pakistani exports to China is 108%.
Compared to August 2021, Pakistan’s export to China in the outgoing month of September has surged by $ 46.58 million. In August 2021, the value of exports was $ 197.27 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Hong Kong, China in September 2021 remained $ 6.488 million compared to $ 6.678 million in the same period last year.
The TDAP’s statistics show that during September of Fiscal Year 2021-22, Pakistan’s total exports remained $ 2,380 million, which is 28% more than September of FY 2020-21 when the total value remained $ 1,887 million.
Compared to September 2020, the overall value of Pakistan’s imports has surged by 51% during September 2021. The value of imports was $ 4,297 million in September 2020, showing a surge of $ 6,479 million.
Pakistan’s imports from China in September 2021 remained $ 1,770.26, while in August 2021, the value of imports remained at $ 1,696.80 million.
