Pakistan, China united for peace and stability, DG ISPR stated during an interview while stressing on combined efforts on countering terrorism.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, emphasized that Pakistan and China share a common commitment to fostering regional peace and remain united in their efforts to combat terrorism.
In an exclusive conversation with China Media Group, the DG ISPR noted that both nations act as responsible global stakeholders, with a mutual focus on the well-being and progress of their populations.
He stated that peace and stability are fundamental to achieving prosperity, stressing the intrinsic link between development and secure environments.
He affirmed Pakistan’s reliance on its own strength, underlining that firm national resolve attracts support from the international community, as previously demonstrated.
Discussing global challenges, he pointed out that all countries, including Pakistan and China, are grappling with serious issues such as climate change and growing populations.
While criticizing hegemonic behavior, he stated, “In such times, should one country attack another based on baseless accusations and false narratives? Should a nation try to impose its dominance on neighboring states?”
The DG ISPR condemned terrorism for its attempt to derail development and praised China’s rapid progress despite its vast population. He noted that Pakistanis similarly strive for stability and advancement.
He reaffirmed that the Pakistani nation has never surrendered and never will. He added that martyrdom, regardless of whether one wears blue, white, or khaki, is held in the highest honor in Pakistan.
