Pakistan, China ink legal cooperation agreement with the objective of strengthening business relations.
The Consulate General of Pakistan in Chengdu, China, signed a legal advisory agreement with Sichuan SUN&CO Law Firm and Pakistan ZOAO Law LLP during a ceremony on January 18.
This agreement aims to enhance investment opportunities and strengthen business relations between China and Pakistan. It focuses on mitigating risks in potential investments, ensuring compliance with corporate and legal regulations in both nations, and increasing awareness of investment incentives offered by each country.
The partnership includes key areas of collaboration such as legal consultancy, business networking, and capacity-building initiatives. By combining the expertise of both countries, the agreement seeks to create a robust legal framework to support business growth and expansion.
Speaking at the event, attended by over 200 legal professionals, Acting Consul General Mr. Agha Hunain Abbas Khan emphasized the goal of deepening cooperation in education, culture, and legal affairs to promote mutual understanding and respect.
Managing Directors Deng Yong of Sichuan SUN&CO Law Firm and Cheng Deyong of Pakistan ZOAO Law LLP also signed the agreement, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening legal cooperation between the two nations.
