From December 16 to 20, Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College in China, in partnership with Pakistan’s Punjab Vocational Training Council (PVTC), organized five short-term vocational training sessions at the China-Pakistan Resource and Environmental International College. These sessions, part of the China-Pakistan dual-degree vocational education initiative, attracted over 400 participants.

Its goal was to enhance the expertise and skills of Pakistani youth in these areas, boosting their career prospects and improving their ability to engage in cross-cultural communication. This effort further deepens the Sino-Pakistani collaboration in vocational education and talent development.
Since its founding in 2023, the China-Pakistan Resource and Environmental International College has enrolled 24 international students in geological surveys and mineral exploration, alongside 17 students in engineering surveying. This training marks the second phase of online vocational courses for overseas youth within the China-Pakistan program, bringing the total number of trained participants to nearly 800. Utilizing an international cloud-based education platform, these programs aim to develop local talent equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for global enterprises.
