The train’s interior is decorated with vibrant Chinese New Year elements, including red-themed decorations, creating a festive atmosphere. Passengers can participate in interactive activities, immersing themselves in Chinese culture during their commute. A local passenger expressed appreciation for the initiative, stating that it enhanced their understanding of the Chinese New Year and deepened their respect for the China-Pakistan bond.
A representative from ICBC Karachi Branch emphasized that the “ICBC Train” is designed to share the beauty of Chinese culture with Pakistanis, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening ties between the two nations. The initiative serves as both a cultural bridge and a means to reinforce emotional connections between the people of China and Pakistan.
Additionally, the “ICBC Train” introduces a new revenue-generation model for the Orange Line Metro. A spokesperson from the operating company highlighted that themed trains not only enhance the passenger experience but also open avenues for advertising and brand partnerships.
