BEIJING, Sep 22 – A Memorandum of Understanding between National Defence University Pakistan and Grandview Institution (GVI) was signed in a ceremony held at the Grandview Institute on Wednesday (September 20)to enhance academic and research collaboration.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque said that the National Defence University (NDU) is a prestigious institution of higher learning and strategic thought, providing key inputs for shaping Pakistan’s defense and foreign policies. He also appreciated the Grandview Institution as a vanguard of scholarship and diplomacy which has contributed significantly to global affairs.
He noted that this MOU was part of the two countries’ efforts to build linkages between think tanks and universities, which would serve as platforms for further strengthening relations between the two countries.
“In a step to further bolster China-Pakistan academic exchanges, an MoU was signed between Grandview Institution (GVI), China, and National Defence University, Pakistan. Also had a fruitful exchange of ideas on the Pakistan Economic Corridor for celebrating 10 years with Ren Libo, President/Founder of GV,” the ambassador stated.
In his speech, Ren Libo expressed his desire to enhance engagement with the Pakistani side. He further reiterated that the two sides should plan and execute joint projects under the agreement for practical cooperation in this regard.
It is to be noted that Ambassador of Pakistan to China Moin Ul Haque and Ren Libo, Founder and President of Grandview Institution, signed the agreement.
