LONGi Solar has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with M.N. Education Campus Lahore under which the company will cover the tuition fees of 20 students for a year.
In this regard, a representative of LONGi Solar and Muhammad Omar, the Principal of M.M. School Lahore has signed the agreement. The school administration and students hailed the Chinese solar company’s pro-education initiative that will enable talented students with humble backgrounds to enjoy quality education.
“This is a very good initiative by LONGi Solar,” Principal Muhammad Omar told Gwadar Pro via phone from Lahore. He said the majority of parents have financial problems providing quality education to their children. “However, initiatives like the one taken by LONGi Solar can ensure a bright future for children from low-income backgrounds,” Mr. Omar added.
