The Legoland Shanghai Resort is set to launch in 2025, as announced in the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress’s annual government work report.
Before its official opening, a trial phase will allow 2,000 to 5,000 visitors daily, according to Wang Minmin, head of Jinshan District’s culture and tourism bureau.
Chen Jie, general manager of the resort, highlighted its potential to stimulate local economic development and transformation.
Spanning 318,000 square meters, the resort is poised to become a major attraction in the region.
