The Karakoram Highway Phase Two project, being constructed by the China Communications Construction Company under CPEC, has not only improved the regional transportation network but also brought financial benefits to the locals. In a tweet, Zhang Heqing, the cultural attaché and director of the cultural center at the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan said that the project uses state-of-the-art technology and design and is the largest infrastructural project under CPEC. This road link has 105 bridges and six tunnels which will greatly facilitate connectivity.

The Karakoram Highway Phase Two project is constructed by the China Communications Construction Company.
The 118-km-long road links the heartland of Pakistan with its remote northern region and financial center in the south.
It is comprised of 105 bridges and six tunnels.
Using state-of-the-art technology and design, it is CPEC’s largest transport infrastructure project.
The project has also created jobs for locals and facilitated trade as it enhanced connectivity in the country.
