The Shalimar Express, a passenger train traveling from Lahore to Karachi, derailed near Shahdara, causing three of its wagons to leave the tracks.
At present, there have been no reports of fatalities. Authorities have halted traffic on both directions of the tracks while efforts to clear the area are ongoing.
