India is sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan, DG ISPR stated as he addressed a press briefing with Interior Secretary.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of ISPR, stated that India is actively backing terrorism within Pakistan with the intent to destabilize the region.
During a joint press briefing in Rawalpindi alongside Interior Secretary Khurram Agha, he revealed that Pakistan possesses concrete evidence that India is using proxy groups like Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitan al-Khawarij to instigate terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He emphasized that India has turned into a central hub of regional instability by financing, planning, and directing terrorist operations inside Pakistan.
According to General Chaudhry, these Indian-backed groups have been attacking civilians, including laborers, barbers, passengers, and now even schoolchildren, under direct orders from Indian handlers.
He also highlighted how Indian social and mainstream media are amplifying this campaign by glorifying acts of terror in Pakistan, showcasing social media posts and news clips that celebrated incidents like the Jaffer Express attack.
Interior Secretary Khurram Agha added that early investigations into the Khuzdar school bus bombing show it is part of a wider pattern of Indian-sponsored violence orchestrated by Fitna al-Hindustan under the guidance of Indian intelligence agency RAW.
He stated that after the failure of India’s so-called “Operation Sindoor,” Indian proxies have been ordered to escalate attacks to disrupt peace in Balochistan, halt development projects, and instill fear – mirroring tactics used in 1971.
Khurram Agha asserted that Pakistanis, especially in Balochistan, reject this malicious agenda. He assured that Pakistan possesses both the capability and determination to dismantle these terrorist networks and hold all culprits accountable.
He noted that having suffered setbacks in attacking hard targets, Indian proxies have now shifted to soft targets—such as laborers working on infrastructure—hoping to create an illusion of state weakness. The recent targeting of schoolchildren marks a new low, going against Baloch cultural values.
The Interior Secretary affirmed that the Pakistani state, in collaboration with provincial governments, will eliminate these Indian-backed terrorist elements. He reiterated that such terrorists have no space in Pakistan and that the government is fully committed to ending this violence with unwavering resolve and a forceful response.
