The “Academic Collaboration under CPEC Consortium of Universities” initiative aims to understand and respond to the historic global geo-strategic and geo-economic transition. It studies its impact on the region in general and Pakistan in particular, keeping in mind the broader Chinese Belt and Road Initiative and its Pakistan-specific component – CPEC. The strategic opportunity arising from these global dynamics is framed within the CPEC Long-Term Plan (LTP).
The CPEC Consortium of Universities consists of 29 Chinese universities and 61 Pakistani institutions, which includes institutions like Fudan University, Shanghai; Harbin Engineering University; Hohai University; Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong; Nanjing University, Nanjing; and Peking University, Beijing, among others.
