Consul General Zhao Shiren meets with Ambassador Khalil Hashmi vowed for stronger bilateral cooperation.
On April 18, Consul General Zhao Shiren met with His Excellency Hashmi, Ambassador of Pakistan to China, at his request. Deputy Consul General Cao Ke, Acting Director of the Political and Information Department Li Haoteng, Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai Ahmed, Acting Consul General in Chengdu Abbas and others were present.
Consul General Zhao warmly welcomed the visit of Hashmi and his delegation, and exchanged views on deepening China-Pakistan economic and trade cooperation, stimulating the vitality of friendly provincial relations, and enhancing exchanges between enterprises. Consul General Zhao thanked the Pakistani Embassy in China for organizing the Chinese business delegation to participate in the exhibition in Pakistan, and said that it was of great significance to organize this event at the important node of the tenth anniversary of President Xi Jinping’s historic visit to Pakistan. Consul General Zhao also introduced the spirit of the Central Neighborhood Work Conference to Ambassador Hashmi, and said that China will be committed to building a closer China-Pakistan community of shared future and continuously improving the well-being of the Pakistani people.
Hashmi said that Pakistan and China have a deep friendship and he is willing to continue to work to promote practical cooperation between Pakistan and China.
