CM Maryam leaves for Pak after eight day China visit securing multiple deals and agreements in key development sectors.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has departed for Pakistan after completing her 8-day visit to China. She was seen off at the airport by China’s Director of Foreign Affairs, Miss Helen, along with other senior officials.
The visit to China was made at the invitation of the Communist Party of China. Accompanying the Chief Minister were Senator Pervez Rasheed, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Uzmi Bukhari, Transport Minister Bilal Akbar Khan, and Agriculture Minister Ashiq Kirmani.
During her visit, CM Maryam Nawaz toured several key institutions, including AI Force Tech, a manufacturer of robotic agricultural equipment in Beijing, Blue Tech Air Alliance, Hyjia Medical, Shiji Tan Hospital, and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport. She also held discussions with high-level delegations from China’s ruling party. Furthermore, several MoUs were signed with Chinese companies across sectors such as environment-friendly transport, agriculture, and health.
