Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday in the Russian Far East. Han conveyed Chinese President Xi Jinping’s warm greetings and well wishes to Putin, emphasizing that as the two nations celebrate the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic ties, China-Russia relations are thriving under the strategic leadership of both presidents.
Han expressed China’s optimism about the future of cooperation with Russia. He highlighted China’s appreciation for the importance of the Eastern Economic Forum and reaffirmed China’s active support for development initiatives in Russia’s Far East. Han emphasized China’s willingness to collaborate with Russia to seize development opportunities, benefiting both countries and advancing mutual growth and prosperity.
Putin warmly welcomed Han to the ninth Eastern Economic Forum and asked him to pass on his best regards to Xi Jinping.
