Chinese solar panels production to begin in Punjab by year end as per a provincial minister.
A Chinese solar energy company is establishing a solar panel manufacturing plant in Punjab, with production expected to begin by the end of this year.
Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, shared this information during a meeting with Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore. They discussed matters related to investment and the promotion of technical education in the province.
The minister updated the governor on the measures taken to promote investment and technical education in Punjab.
Governor Sardar Saleem Haider emphasized that enhancing trade and business activities is crucial for the country’s stability. He noted that significant investment initiatives in Punjab have sparked interest from foreign investors, including Overseas Pakistanis. He then stressed the importance of collective efforts to guide the country towards development.
The governor also highlighted the importance of promoting technical education for Pakistan’s future. He mentioned that upgrading TEVTA institutions would enhance the quality of technical education and inquired about the health of Muslim League President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Chaudhry Shafay Hussain further mentioned that TEVTA institutions are being upgraded in phases, with five colleges being upgraded in the first phase.
