Chinese naval ships arrive in Pakistan for AMAN-2025 which is set to be held in mid February.

A Chinese naval taskforce, consisting of the guided-missile destroyer Baotou (Hull 133) and the comprehensive supply ship Gaoyouhu (Hull 904), arrived at the port of Karachi on the afternoon of February 6 (local time) to take part in the upcoming Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-2025, organized by the Pakistani Navy.

At approximately 4 PM that day, representatives from the Pakistani Navy and the Chinese Consulate-General in Karachi hosted a welcoming ceremony at the dock. Following the ceremony, Chinese consular officials and overseas Chinese visitors had the opportunity to board the Chinese naval vessels for a tour.

The AMAN-2025 multinational maritime exercise is scheduled for mid-February and will focus on key operational drills, including replenishment at sea, joint anti-piracy efforts, search and rescue missions, and air defense maneuvers. The exercise aims to strengthen collaboration among participating navies to enhance maritime security.
