The signing ceremony took place on September 16 when a delegation from ADM Group met with Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, at the Punjab Investment Board (PIB). ADM Group CEO Yasir Bhambani, Malik Enterprises CEO Malik Khuda Bakhsh, and Indus Valley Chairman Rana Irfan Hameed formalized the agreement. Consul General Shehzad Ahmed Khan from Shanghai joined the event via video link.
A PIB official mentioned that the second phase would involve an additional $250 million investment to establish an assembly and manufacturing plant for electric motor vehicles.
