Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong calls on President Zardari, expressing happiness over President’s recovery and presenting him a New Year card from President of China Xi Jinping.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, met with President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was also attended by Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and senior government officials.
During their discussions, both sides exchanged views on key issues of mutual interest and reiterated their commitment to strengthening collaboration in various fields. The Chinese ambassador conveyed his happiness over President Zardari’s recovery and delivered best wishes from the Chinese leadership, including a New Year card from President Xi Jinping, symbolizing the strong ties between Pakistan and China.
Separately, President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the importance of boosting parliamentary cooperation and high-level exchanges with Saudi Arabia to further deepen the brotherly relationship between the two nations. He highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening economic, political, and cultural ties with Saudi Arabia for mutual benefit.
The president expressed these views during a meeting with Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, and other council members at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday. Welcoming the delegation, he underscored the potential for expanding economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and urged efforts to realize this potential.
