China vows to ‘fight to the end’ to U.S. tariff threats
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has announced that China will “fight to the end” in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s threat of imposing an additional 50 percent tariff on Chinese goods.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated during a press briefing on Tuesday that if the United States persists with its tariff and trade war, China will continue to resist.

Lin criticized the U.S. tariff policy as a clear example of unilateralism, protectionism, and economic bullying, noting that such actions are widely opposed by the global community.

The spokesperson further emphasized that China will take necessary actions to firmly protect its legitimate rights.
