Foreign ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated at a daily press briefing that China is firmly against all forms of terrorism. He assured that China will continue to support Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts, uphold social unity and stability, and ensure the safety of its people.
According to reports, a series of attacks occurred in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province on Monday. Terrorists attacked Pakistani security forces and police in many places in Balochistan, stopping vehicles and killing innocent people, and destroying roads, railways and other infrastructure.
Lin also emphasized that China is prepared to enhance counter-terrorism and security collaboration with Pakistan to jointly protect regional peace and stability.
