The agreement was signed in Beijing on Thursday during a meeting between China’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Sun Yeli, and Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture, Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud.
Additionally, China’s National Cultural Heritage Administration and Saudi Arabia’s Heritage Commission renewed their agreement to continue their joint archaeological efforts at the ruins of the al Serrian port.
Representatives from the Palace Museum, National Museum of China, and Shanghai Museum also entered into cooperation plans with Saudi Arabia’s Museums Commission.
