China has managed to reduce the average review time for invention patents to 15.5 months, as reported by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).
The CNIPA also highlighted that the average review time for trademark registrations continues to remain steady at four months.
Presently, the country boasts 124 national intellectual property protection centers and rapid service centers, which span across 29 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
The processing time for intellectual property rights protection cases continues to stay within two weeks, and the CNIPA mentioned that mediation for intellectual property disputes is typically completed within 28 days under its guidance.
