Chinese Premier Li Qiang expressed that China is prepared to collaborate with the EU to reinforce the stable and positive momentum in their relations, deepening strategic mutual trust and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
Li made these comments on Friday during his meeting with European Council President Charles Michel, held alongside the leaders’ meetings on East Asia cooperation in Vientiane.
Li emphasized that next year’s 50th anniversary of China-EU diplomatic relations marks a pivotal moment for building on the past and shaping the future. He added that China is also committed to working with the EU to contribute more to the well-being of both peoples and to the global peace and development agenda.
