China delivered its eleventh batch of emergency humanitarian assistance to Myanmar on Saturday, with the handover in Yangon.
This latest aid shipment includes 340 prefabricated houses, which were officially received by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein at a formal handover ceremony.
Myanmar was struck by a powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake on March 28. As of May 2, the disaster has resulted in 3,839 deaths, 5,105 injuries, and 101 people still reported missing, according to the country’s official statistics.
