China is ready to collaborate with other nations to advance development, ensure security, and share AI-driven progress while fostering a shared future for humanity, stated Zhang Guoqing, the special representative of Chinese President Xi Jinping, during an event in Paris on Monday.

He also extended an invitation to global developer communities for the 2025 Global Developer Conference in Shanghai, set for February 21-23.
At the AI Action Summit, leaders from over 30 countries and international organizations signed a joint statement advocating for inclusive and sustainable AI for humanity and the planet.
During a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Zhang conveyed President Xi Jinping’s greetings and reaffirmed China’s commitment to strengthening ties with France over the next 60 years.
Macron, in response, appreciated Xi’s gesture of sending a special representative and reiterated France’s dedication to strategic autonomy. He expressed a willingness to deepen China-France cooperation, aiming to uphold global stability and address shared challenges.
