China and Pakistan boost vocational education collaboration in NEV with advanced, international sources for teaching.
A seminar focused on developing international teaching resources in energy-saving and new energy vehicles recently took place at Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University. Close to 100 officials and business leaders from China and Pakistan attended, marking the launch of an international teaching resource initiative under the China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance.
Yin Wanjian, President of Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University, stated that they plan to incorporate Chinese new energy vehicle technologies and case studies into the international teaching project, aligning with Pakistan’s current energy industry status and future goals.
Mehr Shahid Zaman Lak, Chief Operating Officer of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) for Punjab, highlighted the significance of China-Pakistan collaboration in vocational education. He expressed hope that the project would enable Pakistani youth to gain knowledge and skills from China’s latest technological advancements, ultimately benefiting the people of both nations.
Participants at the seminar discussed the potential for establishing international standards, curriculum frameworks, and a collaborative workshop aimed at developing highly skilled professionals in energy-saving and new energy vehicles within Pakistan.
