The Board of Investment, Islamabad, will join hands with Pakistan China Center, China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA), and Everest International Expo Pvt. Ltd, to facilitate over one hundred top industrial Chinese companies which will be participating in the Pakistan Industrial Expo 2021 being organised both online and offline in Lahore on 29th October 2021.
Chinese and Pakistan companies participating in the Expo will showcase their products during the Expo i.e., mainly CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery, construction machinery, new energy, building material, agricultural machinery, plastic machinery, hardware, chemical, auto-parts, etc.
The newly appointed Honorary Investment Counsellor (HIC) of Pakistan, who is also the Deputy Head of Pakistan Centre in SCODA, stated that he is glad to join hands with BOI in this meaningful event, and is looking forward to promoting B2B collaboration. He informed that organizers are looking forward to get some impactful MoUs signed in the manufacturing sector with the provinces of Shandong, Henan, and Punjab.
Asim Ayub, Project Director, CPEC Industrial Cooperation of BOI, while expressing his views during a preparatory video conference with Wang Zihai, the Executive Director of Pakistan China Center, state that this format for organizing the Expo is the optimal possible solution to ameliorate the impact of COVID-19.
During the online conference, he stated Pakistan has immense investment potential in the manufacturing sector of Pakistan and BOI is undertaking rigorous efforts to facilitate bilateral investment cooperation between Pakistan and China and BOI is always one step ahead to facilitate and promote any given activity related business and investment.
