The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 is scheduled to take place from March 25 to 28 in Boao, Hainan Province, China, according to Zhang Jun, the BFA Secretary General.
This year’s event, themed “Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future,” will emphasize development, foster dialogue, explore innovative approaches, and prioritize practical outcomes to advance international development and cooperation, Zhang noted.
The theme reflects a commitment to revitalize multilateralism, enhance openness and growth, collectively tackle global challenges, and implement the objectives outlined in the UN Summit of the Future, with a special focus on Asia’s progress.
Zhang stated that numerous participants, including leaders of international and regional organizations, high-ranking officials, Fortune Global 500 business leaders, and distinguished experts and scholars, have confirmed their attendance at the conference.
Key topics of discussion will include fostering trust and collaboration in a rapidly evolving world, promoting inclusive development by rebalancing globalization, accelerating the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals to better address global challenges, and advancing AI application and governance for innovation-driven growth.
The forum will also delve into topics related to artificial intelligence, addressing the digital divide, and enhancing digital connectivity through capacity-building initiatives.
