Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, chairman of the Pakistani Senate’s Defense Committee and the Pakistan-China Institute, stated during a seminar hosted by the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad that the long-standing ties between Pakistan and China are built on a solid foundation of respect, trust, and win-win cooperation.
In addition, he said that by building road networks from south to north and contributing thousands of megawatts of electricity to the national grid, China significantly contributed to the CPEC and helped Pakistan overcome its chronic energy problem.
