The fifth class of Chinese language teaching was inaugurated here by China Window – a Chinese cultural and information center.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province’s Secretary of the Higher Education Dawood Khan formally inaugurated the fifth class of the Chinese language on Sunday evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Dawood Khan said that Pakistan-China friendship was everlasting and ideal. “We are celebrating 70th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations with renewed commitment that this everlasting chain of friendship will be further strengthened in the future,” he noted.
Dawood Khan announced that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government had issued hundreds of scholarships for the students who wanted to have higher education in the Chinese Universities and more scholarships will be given to students in the future.
Regarding the importance of Chinese language, he underlined that One Belt One Road (OBOR) project which will usher in a new era of development and prosperity in the region. “Chinese language learners will get employment opportunities in these projects,” he predicted.
He stated that Chinese language Institutions will be encouraged in every possible way so that more and more young people can get attractive jobs in the private sector instead of relying on the government for jobs.
“I am very happy to know that China Window is doing a great job for the promotion of Pakistan-China friendship,” he expressed.
