The Gwadar Development Authority has inaugurated a new recreational facility named “Kids Fun Land” at Gwadar Central Park on April 25. The initiative aims to enhance family-friendly entertainment in the city.
The project introduces modern mechanical and electrical rides for children. It is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for recreational activities.
Modern Recreational Facilities for Children
The newly developed Kids Fun Land offers a wide range of attractions. These include rides such as Bike, Buggi 2 Horse, Moto Car, Panda Jahaz, Titanic Ship, and Train rides.
Other features include 4 Bee Rides, Badal New Shape, Banmanus Kingkong, and Moto Cup. Each ride has been installed with strict safety and quality standards in mind.
Officials stated that the park ensures a secure and comfortable environment. Families can now enjoy quality leisure time in a well-managed recreational space.
Public-Private Partnership Model
The project has been completed through collaboration with the private sector. This approach highlights a successful example of public-private partnership in recreational development.
Such cooperation has helped improve infrastructure and speed up project delivery. It also reflects a growing focus on modern urban facilities in Gwadar.
Women and Family-Friendly Spaces
The GDA has already developed the GDA Beach Model Park, which is exclusively reserved for women and children. The new Kids Fun Land complements this facility.
It also provides recreational opportunities for fathers and families to spend time together. This balanced approach promotes inclusive public spaces in the city.
Baloch Insight Café as a Social Hub
Another major attraction at the park is the Baloch Insight Café. It is a three-container café designed as a social gathering space for families.
The café hosts birthday parties, family gatherings, and children’s events. It also offers fast food and refreshments, making it a popular leisure spot.
Improving Quality of Life in Gwadar
Earlier, the GDA emphasized upgrading public parks and recreational areas. These efforts are part of broader plans to improve youth engagement and women’s access to public spaces.
The development of Kids Fun Land reflects a growing focus on lifestyle improvement in Gwadar. It aims to enhance the overall quality of life for residents.
