Local hockey players in Peshawar celebrated the 75th anniversary of Pak-China friendship as Baghdada Hockey Club Mardan defeated Islamia College University Peshawar 4-2 in an exhibition match.
The match, organized by China Window, drew a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators who cheered passionately and celebrated the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.The contest remained competitive throughout, with both teams displaying high-quality hockey, but Baghdada Hockey Club secured victory with a strong performance.
Vice Chancellor of Islamia College University, Professor Dr. Ahmad Ur Rahman Saljoqi, attended as chief guest and congratulated China on the milestone anniversary, calling it a time-tested and trusted friend of Pakistan.He also invited Chinese university sports teams to visit Pakistan, assuring them of warm hospitality and enhanced sports cooperation between the two countries.
