Pakistan-China trade through the Khunjerab Pass has picked up pace, with exports to China and Central Asian countries increasing this year.
Officials said 1,774 consignments imported from China were cleared at Sost Dry Port, generating a record Rs10.16 billion in customs revenue despite past disruptions.
Exports of fruits, herbs, and agricultural goods have grown, while imports like electric vehicles and machinery are now routed through Khunjerab, boosting regional connectivity.
