Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, highlighted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has introduced new innovation to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), marking a fresh phase in Pakistan-China economic cooperation. Speaking in Shenzhen, he noted strong participation in a Business-to-Business conference with over 500 Pakistani and Chinese entrepreneurs and ongoing discussions on mobile phone exports and electric vehicle manufacturing.
The minister emphasized that these initiatives reflect a new era for CPEC, expected to play a pivotal role in the stability and growth of Pakistan’s economy. Meetings with mobile phone manufacturing plant owners highlighted the potential for Pakistan-based production and exports, while discussions on electric vehicle manufacturing showcased efforts to diversify industrial cooperation between the two nations.
Attaullah Tarar also noted that PM Shehbaz will engage with Chinese leadership in Beijing to strengthen bilateral business ties further. With these measures, the minister expressed optimism that Pakistan will achieve rapid economic progress, reinforcing CPEC as a cornerstone for regional connectivity, trade, and long-term prosperity.
