The Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) emphasized on Wednesday the emerging industrial cooperation opportunities under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The Chamber highlighted that CPEC’s second phase, focusing on industrial zones, technology transfer, and export-oriented initiatives, provides Pakistan a strategic platform to strengthen trade and joint ventures with Chinese partners.
PCJCCI officials noted that aligning Pakistani industries with CPEC projects can improve production standards, foster innovation, and expand value-added exports. The Chamber stressed that structured collaboration, research, and policy coordination are essential to fully leverage CPEC for sustainable industrial growth. Pakistan can benefit from knowledge exchange, infrastructure development, and partnerships in manufacturing, energy, and high-potential industrial sectors.
Vice President Zafar Iqbal and Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif further emphasized the importance of institutional coordination and capacity building for Pakistani industries. They highlighted that CPEC-linked industrial zones and collaborations with Chinese enterprises will enhance product quality, compliance with international standards, and access to global markets. PCJCCI reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating B2B connections, investment partnerships, and long-term industrial growth between Pakistan and China.
