A new diagnostic block at the Pak-China Friendship Hospital was inaugurated in Gwadar, marking another step to strengthen healthcare facilities in the port city.
Hospital head Dr Affan Faiqzada said the hospital has been providing free treatment since June 2024, serving around 1,100 to 1,200 patients daily through outpatient and emergency services.
Funded by the Chinese government under CPEC, the 150-bed hospital is operated on a non-profit basis by the Indus Hospital & Health Network and offers ICU, laboratory, imaging and surgical services.
